Highly recommend and very grateful

A week after our daughter was born I was still experiencing severe pain while breastfeeding. I got to the point, on a Friday afternoon that I just couldn’t face feeding my baby for the fear of pain and my nipples had got really badly damaged.

We were suddenly desperate to find a breast pump. After some online research and a recommendation from a lactation consultant we decided on the electric Freemie pump. Not being able to wait until the following week for it to be shipped, we got in touch directly and they were so helpful and understanding. They let us come and collect it in person that afternoon. The pump allowed us to continue feeding our baby breast milk and once I’d healed we were able to feed directly from the breast again and 6 months on, we still are.

As for the pump itself, it is really convenient. Being hands free is great – just last night I was pumping, while feeding our daughter (solids) and cooking dinner! It’s comfortable, easy to use, relatively discreet, has a quiet pumping unit and most importantly, is effective at expressing.
